The Bar & Activities
The OK Corral's spacious bar and restaurant is the hub of the activities. When the bar opened in July 2004 seventy people were accomodated in comfort and the standard was set for the future. A full range of English "pub grub" is featured at all hours and a large range of Thai meals is also available. The usual wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available as well as "Char rawng" and "Gafee rawng" - the inevitable hot tea and coffee. A full English Breakfast is available all day for only 95 baht (approximately £1.25 sterling), including a steaming mug of tea, just like Mum used to make! All beers, including the legendary "Tiger" beer from Malaysia, are reasonably priced, all day and all night and the enthusiastic bar staff is on hand to take care of your every wish.

The large shaded patio is a pleasant place to relax in the afternoon and evening and an ideal haven from the bustle of the bar itself, with its pool table, darts and large screen television. Lovers of live sport will enjoy watching major world sporting events, as well as the drama of the English Premier League, as it happens, on satellite television and the local cable network is also available. The bar also has facilities for playing music and video DVD's. Entertainment at its best! |
The bar is perfectly sized for the hosting of various parties throughout the year, celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other special events, and a delicious free Euro-Thai buffet is usually provided by Khun Malee on such occasions. The bar also serves as the clubhouse for the Pattaya Golf Society, aka the "Bunker Boys", and golfers gather there before leaving for competition golf on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and return there in the evenings for the presentation of the day's awards. |

On other evenings the OK Corral's bar may be hosting a visiting team from the local Pool league and often guests have the opportunity of participating in the match. Similarly on Fridays when the bar plays in the local "Mickey Mouse Darts League", a fun competition for less accomplished marksmen!
The other major activity is the appearance of the very successful Quiz team, captained by Mr. Denis, and in the local Sunday Quiz League they currently feature very highly at the top of the table. The team also appear on Wednesdays in Pattaya's second weekly quiz event. Again, guest appearances are very welcome.
